How to Find the Perfect Fit

At Fecini, we use European standard ring sizing, where the size corresponds to the inner circumference of the ring in millimeters. For instance, a size 56 ring has an inner circumference of 56 mm (5.6 cm).

When selecting a thicker ring, such as a signet ring, we suggest choosing a larger size, as these rings tend to feel tighter compared to slimmer bands.

For the most accurate measurement, we recommend visiting a jewelry store where they can quickly measure your size using a ring sizer. It only takes a few seconds, and you’ll have your perfect fit in no time!

However, we understand this may not always be convenient, especially if the ring is a surprise gift or if you don’t have easy access to a jeweler.

Alternative Methods to Find Ring Size

If visiting a jeweler isnโ€™t possible, another option is to borrow a ring that the recipient already wears on the correct finger. Measure the inner diameter of the ring and use our size chart to determine the appropriate size. Be sure to check the product specifications of the ring you’re interested in to ensure the best fit.

If the recipient doesn’t have a ring they regularly wear on that finger, you can measure their finger using a piece of string, yarn, or even floss. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger, mark where the ends meet, and then measure the string length with a ruler. Compare the measurement to our sizing chart for an approximate size. Keep in mind, this method may not be as precise due to the flexibility of the material.

Measuring an Existing Ring

If you already have a ring for the same finger, you can either measure its inner diameter or circumference. You can also use our printable sizing chart from the website or visit a jeweler to have it measured for you. For the most reliable results, we recommend professional measurements.

Factors That Affect Sizing

Finger size can fluctuate depending on the time of day or season. Warm weather or the end of the day can cause fingers to swell. To get the best measurement, try sizing when your fingers feel most “normal.” If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, opt for a size that accommodates both comfortably.

What to Do If Youโ€™re Between Sizes

If youโ€™re between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. A slightly looser fit ensures the ring will slide on easily and feel more comfortable. Based on our experience, thicker rings, like our signet rings, generally require a larger size compared to slimmer bands, as they tend to feel tighter on the finger. Please note that all our rings are handmade, so small variations may occur between individual pieces.

Bracelets

Bracelet sizes can vary based on individual height, build, and genetics. The below figures represent typical wrist sizes in the following regions.

Europe and USA
Women: 15 to 16.5 cm (6 to 6.5 inches)
Men: 18 to 19 cm (7 to 7.5 inches)

Asia
Women: 14 to 15 cm (5.5 to 6 inches)
Men: 16.5 to 18 cm (6.5 to 7 inches)

How to Measure Your Wrist

How to accurately determine your wrist size.

  1. Measure your wrist just above the wrist bone, where your hand meets your wrist.
  2. Make sure the tape measure or string fits snugly against your skin, but not too tightly.

Important: Avoid adding any extra space to your measurement. If you prefer a looser fit for your bracelet, please choose one size bigger.
